Bobbie (Heade) Shearer is a graduate of Knoch High. She and her husband Scott have been Cabot residents for over 25 years. She has 6 children, Sadi (12) and Dori (16) at home, Ruby (20) and Levi (22) at Slippery Rock University, and Neil (24) and Tara (27) in the workforce. She also has two grandchildren Serj (7) and Raiden (10 months). Bobbie enjoys spending time with her family at ball games, family dinners, or just sitting on the porch or around the fire together. She has been actively involved with her children’s school activities at Knoch and St. Luke School over the last 27 years including: baseball, football, soccer, dance, music lessons, track and field, volleyball, lacrosse, school theater, community theater, and hockey. This gives her a unique outlook at how children learn and play differently as well as an understanding of the difficulty of balancing family lives. She and her family are active members of St. Luke Lutheran Church in Cabot.
After years of working in local restaurants Bobbie became a parent volunteer at Saxonburg Memorial Preschool in 2002 and went on to join the staff as a teacher's aid in 2009. She continued to work there until Spring 2017. Bobbie hopes to help the children of St. Joseph Preschool have a fun, positive first-school experience and to instill a love for learning and the Lord.
She believes that an early introduction to the Lord can build a lifelong relationship with God.
Proverbs 22:6 Start children off on the way they should go, and even when they are old they will not turn from it.
